MISSION:

That Lincoln Central Association is recognized by the community as a well-informed, reasoned voice and advocate for the neighborhood, a trusted network to the neighbors, and a vibrant, effective organization of volunteers that contributes significantly to the neighborhood improvement and a sense of community.

OBJECTIVES:

Participation. Provide opportunities for broad participation on issues of concern to the neighborhood. Attain extensive membership throughout the population in the association's boundaries.

Information. Develop information relevant to community issues. Foster broad dissemination and exchange of reliable information about neighborhood issues, neighbors' views, and the community at large. Encourage the use of all forms of communication to establish a credible information network.

Communication & Representation. Ensure that all neighbors' views are accurately and fairly considered by facilitating communication among neighbors, the association, and governmental agencies. Establish practical guidelines for taking positions that are based on those views and an understanding of the community at large.

Accomplishment. Encourage and develop programs to achieve key neighborhood objectives. Be an advocate for neighborhood concerns.
