Park Advisory Council Dear Neighbor, Over the past twelve years, generous neighbors have donated over $75,000 to help make Bauler Park an attractive focal point for the community. Among the projects completed with your support are the sprinkler system, more plantings, new benches, the restored parkway along Wisconsin and periodic maintenance to complement the work done by the Chicago Park District. In 2011, a new piece of playground equipment was purchased and is currently with the Park District awaiting installation this spring or early summer.
As a result of the 2011 fund raising effort, the park fund (held by Lincoln Central Association) now stands at $8,347. A large donation by Classic Kids Photography helped make last year’s campaign a tremendous success. And spending for supplemental maintenance was less than planned due to the improved upkeep by the Park District. As a result, the Bauler Park Advisory Council will not have to raise any additional funds for 2012 and possibly 2013.
